I have just spent 35 minutes trying to get through to book an appointment at the Omni practice . Finally get through only to be told that there are no appointments left today either call back tomorrow in which case I could face the same scenario ..... I’m amazed that for some bizarre reason I couldn’t book an appointment today for an appointment tomorrow but no I have to go through the same routine tomorrow morning . the other option was to call the Badger clinic after 1pm today to book a walk in appointment I assumed a “walk in” appointment was just that but apparently not the receptionist at my dr informed me I need to book an appointment first ??. The other option I was told was to book a routine appointment for a couple of weeks time .... not idealwhen I have the chest infection NOW !! As polite as the receptionist was I may as well have been talking to a recorded message that just kept repeating the same options over and over again . Over 40 years of paying into the NHS and this is the best they can do . I despair!!

I had an appointment with nurse Louise who was lovely. She was very warm and compassionate. She was very clear in her explanations, provided reassurance about a routine screen I had during the consultation, and made me feel incredibly comfortable during the procedure. I would thoroughly recommend the practice as a result of my encounter with nurse Louise.
